Keep the Cultural Park rockin'
Preserve the Sedona Cultural Park with its iconic Amphitheater, keeping it public forever. The stage that hosted Willie Nelson and Tony Bennet can thrive again!
What we stand to lose…

The city wants to demolish the Cultural Park’s iconic amphitheater. The same stage where legends performed among Sedona's red rocks from 2001-2003.
Their plan?
Replace this community gathering place with generic apartment buildings that won’t solve the real housing problem.

This isn't just about music.
It's about losing what makes Sedona special.

The amphitheater structure is sound.
The location is perfect.
The community wants it restored.
But we’re running out of time.

Both housing and culture are possible
We don't have to choose.
Our comprehensive Master Plan creates workforce housing and restores the Cultural Park.
The original vision included housing. We're not against development. We're for smart development that serves the community.
Renovate the amphitheater
using private funds (no taxpayer money)
Build housing units
on suitable land within the Cultural Park
Develop 400-500 additional units
on the better-suited Dells property
Generate revenue
that funds affordable housing through ticket taxes, parking and concessions

The music industry has changed everything
Twenty years ago, the amphitheater failed because artists made money from CD sales, not touring. Digital marketing was limited. Promotion was hard.
Today touring is how artists make their living.
Social media and event apps connect venues directly with fans. Amphitheaters across the country are being built and making money because the fundamentals have shifted.
Sedona has what those new venues spent millions to create: a world-class amphitheater in an unmatched natural setting.

Our Mission
Sedona Cultural Park 2.0 is a community-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit comprised of local residents, business owners, and community leaders dedicated to restoring, preserving, and revitalizing the Cultural Park as a vibrant public space for arts, culture, and community connection.
Our mission is to protect this historic landmark, revive the Amphitheater for performances and events, and create a thriving cultural destination that honors Sedona’s creative spirit while serving residents and visitors for generations to come.
We believe the Cultural Park belongs to the community — a place where music, art, and nature unite to inspire, educate, and bring people together under the red rocks of Sedona.
